RE: Malaysia travel
Hello world!

Taman Negara is an option, but if you are prepared to go for it, then look at Royal Belum State Park. A huge park in the northern parts of Peninsular Malaysia. It is part of the even bigger Belum-Temengor Forest Complex (BTFC). Belum-Temengor Forest Complex (BTFC) that is shared with Thailand – is now one of the least visited ecotourism as Taman Negara becomes touristy. On the boarder with Thailand and some fabulously quiet and real eco-tourism. Elephants, Malaysian tigers, Sumatran rhinoceros, Malaysian sunbear, tapirs, the white-handed gibbon, hornbills and 3 specics of rafflesia, lake Tasik Temenggor. Car rental from Penang or Kota Bharu. Can not be done as a day trip and is better combined with at least an overnight.

No one can yawn at that!

For caving and trekking then you might have to look to Sarawak in the Malaysian bit of Borneo!
